Exploring self-love and self-trust, facing our internal dialogue, and the relationship we have with our bodies and ourselves - through performance, photography, collage, and painting.

Fuerza Cruda (Raw Force) is a lifelong research and artistic movement that investigates how internal dialogue and self-perception shape the way women relate to their bodies, themselves, and others. It is an ongoing act of radical self-awareness, questioning what we believe to be true—and how those beliefs dictate our choices and relationships.

Through interviews, photography, video, painting, collage, and participatory sessions, I am creating a global archive of women’s stories—uncovering how shame, beauty standards, societal constructs, trauma, and resilience leave their mark on identity and expression. This body of work is part research, part ritual, part rebellion, and above all, a creative necessity.

The project culminates in large-scale exhibitions around the world that are more than art spaces—they become arenas for collective awareness. Each one integrates panels, talks, and access to mental health resources that invite participants to examine their own internal dialogue, relational patterns, and truths.

At its core, Fuerza Cruda is about meeting ourselves in our most vulnerable, liberated form—and finding strength in that exposure. It is about stripping away what limits us, choosing rawness over perfection, truth over silence, and stepping into the power of being unapologetically ourselves.

What is

FUERZA CRUDA?

ONE WOMAN.
ONE STORY.
ONE WORK OF ART AT A TIME.

THE PROCESS

The process begins the moment you stand in front of my camera, emotionally and physically naked, facing the internal dialogue that has shaped how you move through the world and relate with yourself. In that space and moment, everything surfaces: the noise, the doubt, the stories you’ve carried in your body for years. I photograph you in that exact rupture, in the moment you choose to stop performing, when instinct cuts through the narrative and your raw self comes forward.

These photographs become the starting point of my research, portraits of your truth, your contradictions, your strength and hesitation living in the same breath. From there, I create digital collages that merge your body with my photographs of flowers and organic textures. The collage becomes a visual map of your energy, your tension, your release.

The painting is the final liberation and expression, where your body, your energy, and my own physical expression collide. I work instinctively, translating the energy of our session and the emotional undercurrents of your collage into large-scale canvases layered with oil, fragments of your body, nature, and movement. My process is physical, I paint with the same intensity I witnessed in you. The piece is painted through disruption, confrontation, flow, and resistance, until it becomes a visceral act of awareness, liberation, and presence. Each canvas is not only a representation of you, it’s an echo of your encounter with yourself, a visual documentation of the moment you faced your internal dialogue and chose, even for an instant, to fully surrender to loving yourself.

“I've always been deeply sensitive to the world and the people around me, and it’s taken me a lifetime to understand how to turn that sensitivity into a strength. Over time, I’ve learned how to channel it in a way that creates a positive impact—not just for myself, but for the people I connect with.

This sensitivity has given me the unique ability to act as a conduit, documenting the powerful journey that women go through as they rediscover their strength, reconnect with themselves, and embrace their liberation and acceptance.” - Chiara Mecozzi
