PODEROSA REUNION
2/12 | 7:00pm
PODEROSA Reunion for all the PODEROSAS I have photographed in New York. It will be a night to meet with one another, check in on our journeys of self-love, share our photos and experiences, and connect through our stories. We will create the space to check in with our internal PODEROSA—where she’s at, what she’s needing, and how we can better listen to her. Also, a beautiful Gal-entine's evening <3

UPCOMING WORKSHOPS
PODEROSA Dance Sessions
with Andrea Brodine
At Casa PODEROSA, I’m opening my studio home as a space for exploration and growth, offering artistic tools that help us connect deeply with our bodies and release the weight of limiting beliefs. These creative experiences are designed to ignite self-expression, build confidence, and cultivate freedom through movement and art.
I am so excited to partner up with the incredibly talented Andrea Brodine in an empowering 6-week dance journey designed to nurture self-expression and self-confidence. Each 1.5 hour session is a celebration of rhythm, energy, and self-discovery that invites you to move boldly and authentically.
Since a big part of my work is deeply rooted in dancing and music, I’m excited to host these sessions in my studio, surrounded by my paintings of women who have gone through the PODEROSA process with me and are now a part of my work and this shared creative space.
By introducing a foundational dance vocabulary and using our bodies as tools for connection and expression, these sessions empower participants to move with greater confidence—not just in their bodies, but in the way they express themselves and approach the world. Unlike free-flowing, ecstatic dance, this workshop is designed to elevate your dance technique and expand your movement vocabulary, giving you the skills to express yourself creatively, intentionally and boldly.
Our classes will focus on Latin Dance rhythms, basic steps, and simple choreography. No previous dance experience is required—this space is open to all women who wish to explore their expressivity through movement in a structured and supportive setting.
WHAT WE WILL EXPLORE
Check-In & Grounding: Each session begins with a moment to check in with ourselves and our bodies. Through gentle stretches and grounding exercises, we’ll check-in of where we are emotionally and physically, setting an intention for the class ahead.
Building Foundations: Learn a foundational dance vocabulary rooted in Latin rhythms. We’ll cover basic steps and techniques that empower you to move confidently and expressively, no matter your dance experience.
Choreography & Expression: Dive into simple yet dynamic choreographies that blend rhythm, technique, and creativity. This is your time to explore bold, intentional movement and discover how your body can be a powerful tool for self-expression.
Reflection & Closing: We’ll close each session with breathwork, self-affirmations, and a reflective moment to honor how we’ve moved and connected. This is your chance to embrace the joy and empowerment we’ve cultivated together.
Each class is a journey that starts with self-awareness and ends with a deeper connection to yourself and your creative potential. This is a space to grow, move, and thrive—together.
WHAT TO WEAR
Wear something that makes you feel comfortable and confident as you move. Suggested: breathable, form-fitting clothing that allows freedom of movement, such as leggings, a fitted top, or a flowy dress. Barefoot or flat dance shoes are recommended for ease and connection with the floor. Layers like a scarf or shawl can add fun elements to your movement.
The purpose of this workshop is to cultivate a deeper sense of self-worth, empowerment, and joy, embracing our physicality while fostering a stronger connection to ourselves and our creative potential.
